As Leslieville continues to grow, with a new transit stop and significant development on the horizon, its streets must grow with it. The Streetscape Master Plan sets a clear vision for a stronger public realm, identifying where change is needed and how the BIA can actively influence, support, and advocate for meaningful improvements.
The plan development is in progress and will deliver near-, medium-, and long-term recommendations that prioritize safety, walkability, and mobility; support local businesses; enhance public spaces; and respond to climate change. Grounded in the vibrant, energetic character of the Leslieville community, the Streetscape Master Plan aims to capture and amplifies the neighbourhood’s distinct identity and sense of place.
